Mark, John and Deirdre are enthusiastic members of Cairde na Cille. The name of the group is from the Irish, ‘Friends of the grave yard’ and that is a very good description of those involved with this organisation. One of the great thrills of this work is to find a worn old stone that tells the forgotten story of a remarkable person, who has been waiting quietly for centuries to be rediscovered.
